Life and Career- He is basically an American actor. He is the son of a radio personality, Asher Benrubi, known as “Smash” to the St. Louis radio listeners. He has graduated from broad Ripple High School, Indianapolis. He is best known for his role as Jerry Markovic on “ER”. His first role as Larry Kubiac in the early 90s series “Parker Lewis Can’t Lose” can also be counted as one of his best roles in his career. It was also his first role. Still his first major role can be mentioned as Roy “R.J.” Biggins Jr., Roy’s gay son in series “Wings”. It was after this that he started working on “ER”.
He is playing one of the main characters as bartender/millionaire Ben Tomasson in short lived series “Men in Trees”. Benrubi is also known as significant resemblance to actor John Goodman. He has also worked in “Open Range” and “Rosseanne”. He is known for giving his voice for many characters in “Robot Chicken”. He has worked in films like “Diving In”, “Crossing the Bridge”, “Twister”, “Without a Paddle” and many more. The recent one was “Miss Congeniality 2” as Lou Steele. His recent TV projects include voice over for “Robot Chicken” and “Pizza Time”, where he appeared as Bruno.
