Wait is on for Season Four

“Robot Chicken” has just gone away a month ago, and the fans have started waiting for season four. So guys! The season four is on the way and it will step on screens, most probably in the beginning of 2009. Don’t mind even if it takes a little long. After all, perfection takes time to be the best. The fact is that I am more impatient than you.
I love to watch this show. This is my favorite animation because of being a little off beat. This show has no particular story line, neither any regular character. In every episode there are plenty of skits with different storylines with various characters. Did you ever find such stuff in any other animation? You can’t, not in currently airing animations at least.
Its creator Seth Green is such a wonderful guy that whatever he will serve, I’ll grab without giving a second thought. He mimics, he has funny ideas and he can make you laugh hard. So everybody keeps anticipating his projects. In fact his name has become trade mark of his own creations. If you know that this is Seth Green’s stuff, then it will definitely be stuffed with humor. So is the “Robot Chicken”.
I am watching this series from the beginning. Rather it won’t be wrong saying that I am watching it before its airing. I was desperately waiting for the series after watching its trailers on internet and TV. The first thing I liked about it was its title poster being displayed all over the internet. I like that cute chicken standing on the title characters.
A very few people would be aware that this series was actually prepared for Sony’s Action Blast website. But promos got such a wonderful response that they decided to launch it on Adult Swim of Cartoon Network in 2005. Off course, this was the right decision and this is evident from its popularity.
Finally, now it’s heading towards its fourth season. I am sure this will become the longest running series and will bring many more seasons yet. Let’s see whose leg pulling Seth Green is gonna do this time!
Seth Green- a Big Bomb in small package

Everyone knows green soothes the eyes, but this ‘Green’ creates a spark in the eyes. It’s Seth Green, off course. I’ll object, if you call him cool. Come on! He’s the fire. He’s 5 feet and four inches, carrying a naughty smile. He can mimic almost everybody. He doesn’t let any of the celebrities or politicians go without being teased. He’s equally mischievous towards biblical figures and everybody keeps waiting for his mischief. That’s why he can be perfectly called a big bomb in small package.
The guy normally in jeans with t-shirts or sweat shirts looks so innocent. If you meet him for the first time, you would take time to believe that he can be funny to this extent. But when he starts talking in his distinct way, you can only wonder, what this guy is up to now.

I get the similar feeling whenever I hear about any of his upcoming projects. Well this time, I am not talking about his upcoming project, rather about the ongoing project, “Robot Chicken”. It already had three seasons full of gags and is ready with the fourth one in hidden pocket. I expect more and more of Seth Green’s spark in this season as well. I heard his name for the first time due to his voice work in “Family Guy”; though I’ve seen him in “That 70’s Show” before that. Still, I wasn’t aware of his actual talent. Secondly, he’s just like Seth McFarlane, the creator of “Family Guy”. Both are animators. Both are equally naughty and creative.
Sometimes it seems like God has created two men out of one and surprisingly, both share the same first name along with traits and talent. When both work together, it makes a blast. I hope like they glorified “Family Guy” and dragged it onto “The Cleveland’s Show”; they will bring similar fate for “Robot Chicken” in future.
He has just won Annie Award for his direction in this show. I hope, he will have some more in his pocket very soon. The bottom line is, he’s a great guy and so are his ideas. Let’s see what next is on his hands?
Season Three has gone!

Werewolf, Unicorns, Dinosaurs and so many heroes from other animations, the exciting season three is over. Though, it came after a long wait of months, but it paid back well. This was equally amazing like previous seasons. The thing I like about this show is that they bring a healthy number of episodes. It ran for full three months and the ‘Specials’ were like an extra icing on the cake. When you love a series and you wait for this and it comes back with a lot much stuff. It gives a sense of an extra satisfaction, exactly like a bonus!
Above all, their dolls like characters always fascinate me. Every character is so cute. These are like peppy puppets. Nonetheless, animation appears like close to natural. Anyways, season three was rocking. There were the funniest gags, in this season, like the show never ever had. The first gag of the season was really creative, just like Seth Green’s mind. It was actually about Seth Green.
Here, Seth Green and the cast are being murdered and they take revenge from their murderers. Guess! Who are the murderers? These are Matthew Senerich, Mike Lazzo and Keith Crofford. But they decide to not to kill Matt as their killings gave them better life insurance. The beginning couldn’t be more interesting than this.
After this, the episode “Trapping Hero” is the most memorable. If you hadn’t have heart full of laughter for a long time, then this is perfectly your cup of tea. The funniest gag of the episode is about George Bush. The ex-president George Bush receives a not so pleasant surprise. He receives ‘Gremlin’ as gift. These are a sort of mischievous fairies, so the mess is obvious in the White House. Believe me! You won’t be able to resist laughing. At least I did the same.
The picturization is so real in Seth Green’s animes that it appears like an actual scene. That adds to fun. Also watch “Law and Order” with chickens in this episode.
Other than these, there are superheroes, gummy bears, Barbie and many more parodies throughout the season. This is truly worth watching. Let’s enjoy!

Robot Chicken is an Emmy Award winner, American stop motion animated television series created by She Green and Matthew Senerich. It is aired in US as a part of Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim’s block. The show premiered on August 12, 2007 and has seen three seasons until September 28, 2008. It’s coming back with the fourth season in 2009. This was originally an internet series prepared for Sony’s action Blast website. Now this is the highest rated original show on the Adult Swim’s block and second highest on the network.
Every episode contains a series of small skits, which is usually parody of real television series, movies, celebrities, characters from TV series as well as animation characters. The show even doesn’t pardon the President of US and video games characters. It makes fun of popular super heroes, history, Pacman and other video games. In short, the show observes everything from it’s own glass, and expresses it’s opinion about how the things actually should be. Every episode is tightly stuffed with laughs and it’s evident from it’s ever existing fan following and high ratings.

Robot Chicken, the animated series has been around for some three years now. The series is currently running into its third season and has already been ordered with another season. The fourth season of the series was premiered this Sunday and has been ranked at the top position. The fourth season got almost the double ratings as compared to the third season. Nothing has yet been decided, what the fourth season will be about or how many episodes it will have. The first, second and the third season of the series had twenty episodes each. How many episodes this season will have, we got to wait and watch. But one thing is for sure that the series will have another season.
And, definitely this is good news for the fans. Not only that, the series is quite popular among almost all age groups and especially between the youngsters. The most interesting thing about the name of the series is that ‘Robot Chicken’ was a dish from the Chinese restaurant which Seth & Matthew ordered for a take-out, while they were writing the show. So, this is how the name of the series had come up.
Robot Chicken, the animated series revolves around a mad scientist. The series opens with a mad scientist finding a road-killed chicken. And that is the first and the last time that you will see a chicken in the series. On finding the dead chicken he takes it back to his laboratory and refashions it into a cyborg that resembles Locutus of Borg, although Matt Senreich denies that this allusion was deliberate. The mad scientist then straps it into a chair, uses specula to hold its eyes open, and forces it to watch a bank of television monitors. The series continues in this manner with the strange things that the mad scientist does and in the process produces laughter.
Robot Chicken is a comedy series and has been successful in its purpose of making people laugh. I just hope that series will keep entertaining us in the same way.
